I'm now in a land of the land, a land hot wind and sandstorm, camel dung, belly dancer's run amok, and skyscraper reaching for the skies. Not to mention the land known for very loud Honk. Honk you ask? Honestly. I'm in my room on the 6th floor and the windows are shut but you could hear them blaring on the ground below. Some poor schmuck musta have his hearing impaired from that, I assure you.
Being back in Dubai sure bring back memories...I don't know...just being here is hell...kinda great. Development stil here but a lot has been on halt due to the current trend across the world where money is concerned. Thank god for that otherwise it will be one of those crazy metro town crawling with traffics and honks of those damn big four wheelers.
I have not come for vacation, far from it. I had a training to undergo which I've missed back in Freemantle on February, so this is my revenge but hey, not complaining. Wheather wise is not that bad, stil hot but less humid, so again..thank God for that.
Been put up at Ramada hotel in Bur Dubai, not a bad place, just a walking distance from office, convenience store, eatery place and yes, our office here in Dubai is somewhat like my office back in KaYel, office on top, shopping complex at the bottom and man u need a lot of energy strolling from end to end and up 3 floor to cover the whole mall..don't let me start on Mall of Emirates...they have ski slope inside there...go figure how big it is. But I will skip that this trip. Just wanna go to Deira City and HRC which should cover the basis for me, plus I don't feel like crazy spender now that my responsibility is getting bigger and bigger. And I'm not just talking about the significant other, lol. Oh behave people this is not a controlled page, mind you.
Oh yeah before I came here, had a pretty nice dinner and karaoke session with frends. Dinner was great although not using cable this time...i knew it i shud have call the manager there and fix us a quickie. Mental note to self...never throw good chance and easy dinner when going there next time. By there I mean Tony Roma's.
Spoilt the karaoke session though which was supposed to be at Red Box the Curve but since I'm late, they gave the room a way..damn it! So the venue has been moved to 1 Utama instead...lucky. Lucky that they have room at 11.30pm. Better than nothing right?
So how many people were supposed to be there? Less than 10 originally but end up only 4, including me. Oh well, better since I got a chance to be silly in less stupid situation. But hey, it was fun fun fun.
Now i get lotsa stuff to write eheheheh and so little time, I haven't had my morning shower yet.... Yes by this I'm feeling perky today and hope that everything goes well today. Just finish browsing the net, I have to do The Dubai Mall. Freaking big shopping mall by the side of Burj Dubai the freaking tallest building in the world standing at almost 900 meter from land level. The building itself is not yet finish but hey, last time I was here, you can see bits and pieces but now..now is a different story altogether. Damn it, why I never notice it yesterday...should have gone there yesterday. Hm......
Anyway, I need to shower, really. Otherwise I'm late for the bus and skipping breakfast at the hotel...it's expensive to be eating at Dhs 50 just for breakfast don't cha think?
Ok, I'll get back soon, I have plenty of stuff to pan for today actually after the classes finish. I just hope that I can cover two place in just about 4 hours including tranportation. I just gotta love the rush ehehehe.
